Touchscreen Rental and Touch-menu Case Study – Alexony
Alexony are an events management company that run conferences, exhibitions, presentations, meetings and other events. Alexony required a touchscreen rental with touchscreen software for the exhibition stand of one of their clients, at a major shipping event they were managing in London. The idea was for the touchscreen to attract people to the stand and enable them to easily access different parts of the client’s website
What was done
We provided a 46″ Touchscreen with integrated Windows 8.1 PC. We also created a touch-menu; a homepage that enabled users to easily link to the the different pages of the client’s website. The website was white-listed, so users could not access other websites. The entire application was locked-down. So it was ready to plug and play and users could not exit the application and access the desktop.
We delivered the touchscreen on the day, with the software set-up. We connected the touchscreen to the venue wifi and made sure everything worked perfectly. The touchscreen with a tailored touch-menu was seen as great addition to the client’s exhibition stand. It gave the stand a wow-factor, increased user engagement and enabled visitors to interact with the client’s content.
